Sekhukhune United sign Ivorian winger

Sekhukhune United have completed the signing of Ivory Coast right winger Tidiane Diomande, the club confirmed on Thursday.
The 26-year-old arrives from Ivorian champions Stade d'Abidjan, where he played under current Marumo Gallants coach Alexandre Lafitte.

He has also played for traditional powerhouse ASEC Abidjan in the past, as well as Williamsville and San Pedro. He had a short six-month spell at Armenian side Shirak SC in the 2020/21 season.
Diomande brings the experience of having played in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup for several seasons and adds to the attacking options of Sekhukhune coach Eric Tinkler.

The club has already signed striker Lehlohonolo Mojela, who moved from Stellenbosch FC.
Sekhukhune are currently in third place, three points behind Betway Premiership leaders Orlando Pirates, though they have played a game more.
They are next in action on 20 January against Stellenbosch FC in Polokwane.
