Magesi edge closer to automatic promotion
Magesi moved one step closer to automatic promotion this week, following a 2-0 win over Platinum City Rovers in the Motsepe Foundation Championship at the Isak Steyl Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Following a 2-0 defeat against Maritzburg United last time out, Clinton Larsen’s outfit have now extended their lead at the top of the table to six points with three games left to play.
Rovers, on the other hand, recorded their third straight loss in the league and remained at the bottom of the log after 27 matches played.
Elsewhere, University of Pretoria recorded a 1-1 draw with JDR Stars at the Tuks Stadium on Wednesday.
While AmaTuks remained in second place, JDR Stars slipped down to fourth position as a result of Baroka’s 1-0 win against Upington City on Tuesday afternoon.
In search of safety, Marumo Gallants bagged a crucial 1-0 win against Black Leopards at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in their latest league assignment.
Gallants ended the latest game week in 14th place, two points ahead of Venda Football Academy, who recorded a 1-1 draw with Maritzburg United at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Tuesday.
