Libya and Niger boosted their ambitions of qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations following Thursday's qualifiers.

Fahd Saad Mohamed's 84th-minute goal earned Libya a 1-0 win over Rwanda in Kigali in a Group D clash.

The Mediterranean Knights will qualify for the finals if they defeat Benin on 18 November, and the other result between Nigeria and Rwanda goes their way on the same day.

Niger, on the other hand, thumped Sudan 4-0 in Lome in a Group F match.

The Menas will book their spot in the finals if they secure a win over Ghana on 18 November and Sudan lose to Angola on the same day.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen canceled out Mohamed Tijani's opener as an already-qualified Nigeria drew 1-1 with Benin in Abidjan.

Habib Diarra's late goal earned Senegal a 1-0 win over Burkina Faso in Bamako in a battle between two already qualified Group L teams.

In Malabo, a Group E encounter between Equatorial Guinea and Algeria failed to produce a winner as the two teams drew 0-0 having both qualified.

Tunisia booked their spot in the finals after defeating Madagascar 3-2 in Pretoria in a Group A clash.
