Blitzboks down All Blacks to make it two from two

The Blitzboks made it two from two as they downed New Zealand 19-14 in a tense game to book their spot in the semifinals of the Cape Town Sevens.
The Blitzboks will now face Great Britain, who have lost both their games thus far, in their final game of day one in defence of the title they won last season. The game will kick off at 7.41pm.
The South Africans survived two yellow cards in the first half and a late comeback from New Zealand but always seemed to have enough to win on home soil.

The All Blacks, who won in Dubai last weekend, were on top in the first half thanks to a try to Tone Ng Shiu after yellow cards for Impi Visser and Shilton van Wyk.
But the Blitzboks turned things around in the second half when Donavan Don and Van Wyk scored within two minutes of each other to take the lead, and then Ronald Brown made sure of the win in the 14th minute.
A late try by Scott Gregory made the scoreline look better, but the Blitzboks were always going to be winners.
The win comes after Van Wyk’s hat-trick allowed them to come from behind in their first game of the day and beat Fiji 24-21 to give their confidence a massive boost.
