We haven't had this for a while: home-bound cricket tours full of T20s, ODIs and tests!

Cricket fans won't want to miss the Proteas teams hosting India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan men, along with the England women for a long, thrilling summer. 

In addition, there is also the Betway SA20 and ICC Champions Trophy to look forward too early in 2025. And as ever, SuperSport will bring you all the action live.

Here's everything you need to know to stay in touch.

PROTEA WOMEN

The SA women will be taking on England this November, and the tour begins with three T20Is followed by three ODIs and the only test, which will be part of the 2022-25 Women's Championship.

The first T20I is in Buffalo Park, East London, on 24 November. The second is at Willowmoore Park, Benoni, on 27 November and third and final T20I takes place at SuperSport Park, Centurion, on November 20.

The ODIs will be played in Kimberly, Durban and Potchefstroom on 4, 8, and 11 December. Finally, the test match is being played in Bloemfontein, 15-18 December.

PROTEA MEN

On the other hand, the SA men have an action-packed summer at home with India taking them on in four T20Is, Sri Lanka in two tests, and Pakistan in two T20Is, three ODIs, and two test matches.

BETWAY SA20 SEASON 3

The highly anticipated Betway SA20 Season 3 is set to light up the South African summer once again, bringing world-class cricket and entertainment to fans all around the country.

The action-packed tournament, featuring the best local and international talent, is set to thrill from 9 January 2025, with the final locked in for 8 February at the iconic Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

The season kicks off with an almighty bang as back-to-back champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape start their  bid for a hat-trick of titles by hosting MI Cape Town in the competition opener at St George’s Park.

The opener will feature a blockbuster face-off between SEC captain Aiden Markram and MICT’s new box-office recruit Ben Stokes. There will also be a battle of southpaws between SEC's Marco Jansen and MICT's Trent Boult.

ICC CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2025

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to be held in Pakistan from 19 February to 9 March, 2025. This major tournament will feature the top eight one-day international (ODI) teams, including Pakistan, Australia, India, New Zealand, Bangladesh, South Africa, Afghanistan and England.

The matches will take place in three major cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. The tournament will begin with an exciting opening match between Pakistan and New Zealand.

There will be three games in the first round for South Africa: the 21 February against Afghanistan, the 25 February against England, and the 28 February against Australia.

How to watch

Apart from a dedicated 24-hour channel on Premium (SS Cricket), matches will be broadcast on Grandstand, supplemented by highlight packages for every match (available on Catch Up).

Commentary will be in English, plus isiXhosa and Afrikaans.
