Bulls parachute Goosen in at 10 for semifinal

Vodacom Blue Bulls coach Phiwe Nomlomo has included former Bok Johan Goosen in his starting line-up against the Hollywoodbets Sharks in their Carling Currie Cup semifinal at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

Nomlomo has shuffled the side after losing to a late try last week in the rain in Durban, and Goosen’s presence will up the ante for the Pretoria side, who have also included Stravino Jacobs on the wing for the clash.

Dylan Smith returns to the front row to join Akker van der Merwe and Wilco Louw while last season’s find in the URC, Cameron Hanekom has his second outing after injury. 

Nizaam Carr will captain the side while Stedman Gans’ return to the backline sees David Kriel shift to 12, with Gans taking the 13 jersey.
