Chiefs Eye Leeds Scalp in Upcoming Friendly Clash

Kaizer Chiefs aspire not only to acquire knowledge but also to vie vigorously in their last two friendly matches during their DStv Diski Challenge International Tour in the United Kingdom.
The Amakhosi are currently residing in Manchester, partaking in this tour as a commendable reward for their triumphant conquest of the 2024/25 Diski Challenge title, which they secured with remarkable finesse, setting an unprecedented record of 70 points in the league.
On Friday, Amakhosi played their first friendly match against Manchester United. On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, they are set to face Leeds United at the Thorpe Arch Training Ground, with the match scheduled to kick off at 3pm South African time.

Naledi Hlongwane, the Chiefs' top goalscorer last season, emphasized that the team's main focus during this tour is on competition and learning.
"We played our first game and were pleased with our performance. However, there's always room for improvement," Hlongwane said.
"Everything is on track for us, but we faced some challenges during the early days of our tour as we had to adjust to the cold and rainy conditions. However, everyone is now in good form. We're looking to deliver an even stronger performance against Leeds United while also continuing to learn.
"The primary goal of this trip for us is to grow and develop as players. We had a training session with Manchester United players on Sunday, and it was very beneficial for us."
Chiefs last friendly match will be against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday at TSG Elite Training & Performance Centre.
