South Africa win toss and bowl

South Africa won the toss and chose to bowl first in the opening match of the Wonder Cement T20 International series against India at Kingsmead in Durban on Friday.

This is the first of four eagerly awaited matches being played between the countries following India’s dramatic seven-run victory in the ICC World Cup final in Bridgetown, Barbados in June.

The other games are in Gqeberha on Sunday, Centurion next Wednesday and in Johannesburg next Friday.

All the matches are sell-outs.
