Liga match postponed after Valencia fire tragedy
Valencia's Liga clash at Granada was postponed on Friday as a mark of respect following a fire tragedy which left at least 10 people dead.
"The request to postpone the match against Granada has been accepted," said Valencia who had requested the postponement with the support of their Andalusian hosts.
The second division meeting between Levante and Andorra, scheduled for Saturday evening in Valencia, has also been postponed.
LaLiga added that a minute's silence will be observed before each match at the weekend.
Fire crews on Friday were picking through the still-smouldering 14-storey apartment block in the eastern Spanish city, a day after the blaze.
Film footage showed clouds of black smoke as the flames consumed the high rise of 138 flats in the Campanar district of the Mediterranean port city.
