Dortmund's Malen back from injury to face old club PSV
Borussia Dortmund's attacking midfielder Donyell Malen returns to face his old club PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday after recovering from a knee injury that kept him on the bench for the weekend draw against Wolfsburg.
England international Jadon Sancho gets his first Champions League start in the last 16 tie first leg since March 2022, when he played for Manchester United in a 1-0 loss to Atletico Madrid.
Sebastian Haller, who helped Ivory Coast win the Africa Cup of Nations, is ruled out through injury.
Germany international central defender Niklas Suele dropped out at the last minute due to illness.
Veterans Marco Reus, 34, and Mats Hummels, 35, start for Dortmund. With 85 European games behind them, they both equal a club appearance record.
Meanwhile, PSV Eindhoven boss Peter Bosz welcomes back his Belgian forward Johan Bakayoko, who missed the team's last match through illness but came through training and is fit.
Guus Til, an important playmaker and link-up man for talismanic striker Luuk de Jong, has not been passed fit however. He is replaced by Hirving Lozano from Mexico.
