Capitals v DSG toss delayed in Centurion

The SA20 match between the Pretoria Capitals and Durban’s Super Giants saw the toss delayed due to rain at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Saturday evening.

Poor weather on the Highveld has affected three games today, with the afternoon’s SA20 clash between the Joburg Super Kings and Sunrisers Eastern Cape at the Wanderers abandoned due to rain and lightning, while the SA U19s match against the Indian U19s in Benoni is also currently delayed due to lightning.

Unfortunately the poor weather over the day means the Capitals and DSG game will also be in danger of being called off, unless conditions improve drastically.

Both teams will however be desperate for a game, even if it’s shortened, as they currently sit in the bottom half of the log, with DSG fourth and the Capitals fifth, and both will want a win to climb up the table.
