Betway Premiership to resume earlier than scheduled
The Betway Premiership is set to resume earlier than previously scheduled, with the first match now on Monday, January 19, the day after the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco.
Mamelodi Sundowns have been granted a change of date for their league clash against newly promoted Orbit Collage, which was originally set for Tuesday, January 20.

Sundowns are taking on Al Hilal of Sudan in Pretoria on Friday, January 23, as they resume their African Champions League campaign, and bringing forward the clash against Orbit at Loftus Versfeld allows them more time to rest and prepare for the continental club competition clash.
The two sides competing in the African Confederation Cup the same weekend will play league matches on Tuesday, January 20, as previously scheduled, with Kaizer Chiefs up against Lamontville Golden Arrows at Soccer City and Stellenbosch, with new coach Gavin Hunt in charge for the first time, away at Sekhukhune United in Polokwane.
Chiefs then go away to Zambia to meet Zesco United on Sunday, January 25, in their third game in the Confederation Cup, while Stellenbosch travel to Algeria to meet Chabab Belouizdad.
Stellenbosch have had their league match at Golden Arrows on Wednesday, January 28, postponed because they will not be back in time from Algeria, but Chiefs go to Bloemfontein to take on Marumo Gallants on January 28 after they get back from Zambia in a quick turnaround for them.
That postponement has allowed the Premier Soccer League to move the derby between Richards Bay and Golden Arrows at uMhlathuze Sports Complex from Saturday, January 31, to Friday, January 30 (kick-off 7.30pm).
