Pretoria Capitals win toss and bat against Sunrisers

It’s a rematch of the 2023 final won by the side from the coast and a chance for revenge for the Capitals, who also went down by 48 runs at St George’s Park a week ago.

Both teams have been itching for any lingering weather to clear, after rain wiped out both their first games of 2026 at the weekend without a ball being bowled.
