AmaZulu sign Zimbabwe international

AmaZulu have added a second Zimbabwean to their squad, announcing on Wednesday the signing of international midfielder Mason Mushore.

The 24-year-old was born in Harare but has been signed from Bulawayo-based Highlanders. AmaZulu did not give details of the contract terms and duration.

AmaZulu owner Sandile Zungu tipped the lanky defensive midfielder to quickly endear himself to the Usuthu faithful in the same way compatriot Thando Ngwenya has.

“We welcome Mason to the AmaZulu family and are confident that he will add value and prove himself in our midfield,” said Zungu.

Mushore was capped by Zimbabwe in a friendly against Burkina Faso in June but did not make the squad for the Africa Cup of Nations finals, where they were eliminated by South Africa.
