Kenyan star signs for Scottish side

Former Kenyan international Victor Wanyama has signed a short-term contract with Scottish side Dunfermline Athletic FC (DAFC) after parting ways with FC Montreal in Canada.
DAFC confirmed the capture of the box-to-box midfielder who has signed a contract for the rest of the season.
“DAFC are delighted to announce the signing of Kenyan international, Victor Wanyama, on a deal until the end of the season, subject to international clearance,” the club wrote on its Facebook page.
The 33-year-old returns to Scotland where he made a name at Celtic FC 12 years ago, paving the way for his big-money move to Premier League’s Southampton and then Tottenham Hotspur.
He has reunited with new Dunfermline coach Neil Lennon after the pair worked together at Celtic winning back-to-back Premiership titles.
Wanyama has an important role in helping Dunfermline survive relegation as they lie second from the bottom.
