Mwape Musonda scored a second half brace to lead Black Leopards to a 2-0 win over SuperSport United at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Zambian forward has now scored six goals in his last six games for Lidoda Duvha, who recorded their third successive victory to move up to 11th place on the log standings. The defeat leaves Matsatsantsa in eighth spot, 10 points off the pace.

Thabo Mnyamane, Dean Furman and Bradley Grobler all returned from injury for Matsatsantsa, who were desperate to return to winning ways with victory in the Limpopo province.

Leopards, though, were the dominant force throughout and following a goalless first half the hosts opened the scoring from the penalty spot, Musonda, making no mistake from 12 yards to send the home fans into delirium.

Leopards continued to boss proceedings and duly doubled their lead in the 87th minute through Musonda.

The burly forward produced a crisp finish from a Tshwarelo Bereng's cross as the hosts claimed all three points to continue their revival.
