Baroka FC will face off with Lamontville Golden Arrows in an Absa Premiership match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday.

Kick-off is at 7:30pm CAT (SA, GMT+2).

Bakgaga are undefeated in their last two league matches having defeated Polokwane City 1-0 in their last game in the competition.

They find themselves in 12th spot on the league standings - three points behind fifth-placed Bidvest Wits, who have four games in hand.

Wedson Nyirenda, the Baroka coach, says his charges should be focused on the task at hand after the recent Fifa international break.

"We just pray they won't come back with knocks, this time it is Afcon qualifiers and I know they are very strenuous," Nyirenda said.

"They have to be concentrated and focused on what we are doing. We won't have much time before we play another match."

Meanwhile, Arrows are undefeated in their last three league matches having extended their unbeaten run with a 3-2 win over Mamelodi Sundowns in their last game in the competition.

Abafana Bes'thende are sitting in fourth spot in the league standings - a point behind second-placed Sundowns, who have a game in hand.

Steve Komphela, the Arrows coach, says his side were unlucky against Sundowns as they lost 2-1 over the weekend and he has since turned his focus to their upcoming league matches.

"We did get behind the opponent and created enough chances to at least draw the match but unfortunately, on the day, we had no luck and got knocked out of the Telkom (Knockout Cup) semifinal," Komphela said.

"Our next match is a league match against Baroka and immediately followed by Black Leopards in Thohoyandou on Saturday."
