Highlands Park will welcome Lamontville Golden Arrows in an Absa Premiership match at the Makhulong Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 3:30 pm CAT.

The Lions of the North extended their winless run to six matches in the league when they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to SuperSport United away in their last game.

As a result, they are currently placed eighth on the league standings - three points behind fourth-placed Bidvest Wits.

Owen Da Gama, the Highlands Park coach, is concerned by their scoring problem ahead of their clash with Arrows.

"It is disappointing when we miss our chances. it happens game in and game out," Da Gama said.

"We really have to see how we can improve. We will keep on working and we know that we will turn the corner and get it right."

Meanwhile, Arrows are winless in their last two league matches after recording their second successive defeat by losing 1-0 to Wits at home in their last match.

Abafana Bes'thende find themselves on the fifth spot on the league standings - level on points with fourth-placed Wits.

Steve Komphela, the Arrows coach, is worried by the fact his side dominates matches, but they end up losing them.

"We kept pushing till the last minute of the match (against Wits), but we just could not equalize," Komphela said.

"The second match we lost under circumstances unexplainable where we dominated completely and created clear chances and ended on the losing side."
