FEATURE: Top 10 PSL exports since 2010

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has produced many talented players who have gone on to further their careers abroad.

We take a look at the league's top 10 exports since the 2010 Fifa World Cup which was hosted by South Africa.

Valery Nahayo

The Burundi international was snapped up by Belgian giants KAA Gent from Kaizer Chiefs in 2011 and he spent three solid seasons with the former Pro League champions.

Lyle Foster

The South African starlet secured his dream move to AS Monaco from Orlando Pirates in 2019 and he has been enjoying game time at Belgian Pro League side Cercle Brugge on loan from the French Ligue 1 giants.

Andile Jali

The Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder was sold to KV Oostende by Orlando Pirates in 2014 and he helped the club reach the 2016-17 Belgian Cup final and played in the Uefa Europa League.

Keagan Dolly

The Bafana Bafana attacking midfielder secured a big move to Montpellier from Mamelodi Sundowns in 2017 and he remains on the books of the former French Ligue champions, having struggled with injuries.

Knowledge Musona

The Zimbabwe captain was sold to German side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim by Kaizer Chiefs in a big-money deal in 2011 and he has gone on to play for Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht among other European clubs.

Marshall Munetsi

The Zimbabwe international was surprisingly snapped up by former French champions Stade de Reims from Orlando Pirates in 2019 and he has impressed in his debut season in the Ligue 1.

Bongani Zungu

The Bafana Bafana international left Mamelodi Sundowns for Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes in 2016 and he helped the club reach the 2016-17 Taça de Portugal final. He has since moved to French outfit Amiens.

Bongani Khumalo

The SuperSport United defender left the club for top Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in 2011 and he went on to play for several English clubs including Reading FC. He helped PAOK finish second in the 2012-13 Greek Super League.

Thulani Serero

The Bafana Bafana playmaker moved to Ajax Amsterdam in a massive transfer from Ajax Cape Town in 2011 and he went on to win three Dutch Eredivisie titles with the club. Serero is now with United Arab Emirates (UAE) side Al Jazira.

Percy Tau

The Bafana Bafana forward was sold to English outfit Brighton and Hove Albion from Mamelodi Sundowns in a big-money transfer in 2018. He has had successful loan spells with Belgian clubs Royal Union St Gilloise and Club Brugge.
