TP Mazembe will play host to Club Africain in the 2018/19 CAF Champions League Group C match at the Stade TP Mazembe on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 3:00 pm CAT.

The DR Congolese giants are keen to return to winning ways after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Algerian side CS Constantine away in their second Group C match earlier this month.

The defeat left the Ravens placed third on the group standings - six points behind the leaders, Constantine, who defeated Mazembe and Africain.

Mazembe coach Mihayo Kazembe is keen to lead his side to victory in their third match in the group stage.

"We reacted well after conceding all three goals, but it (our effort) was not enough," Kazembe said on Adiac-Congo.

"Congratulations to the CS Constantine, who earned this victory. We will go back to Lubumbashi to work. It's only the second day, we must get back as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, Africain secured a 2-1 win over Egyptian club Ismailly away in their second Group C game earlier this month.

However, Ismaily were disqualified from the competition as their aggressive fans threw rocks and water bottles on the assistant referee and the away fans during the clash with Africain.

As a result, all results of matches (against Mazembe and Africain) played by Ismaily were annulled.

Africain coach Chiheb Ellili is now eager to lead his side to their maiden victory in the group stage.

"Our chances are intact, we are determined to achieve a positive result, as was the case with Al Ismaily," Ellili told Masaique FM.

" It will not be easy and we will need to be focused, we will be watching the opponent and our last game in the Champions League to give more confidence to the players."
