Dire Dawa, Wolkite City make Ghanaian signings

The recent Ethiopia Football Federation regulations restricting the number of foreigners that can be signed by Betking Ethiopia Premier League clubs has seen a rush for the best Ethiopian clubs for top players, but Wolkite have made their first foreign player.

Wolkite City who have also gotten in some more signings and this week completed three significant signings, former Ethiopia under-17 star Fasil Abebayehu, who joined from Giden Dilla and former Jimma Aba JIfar and Wolaitta Dicha goalkeeper, Saeed Habtamu who is expected to provide additional cover in goal.

Wolkite didn't have a foreign player in their squad last season have now signed Ghanian import Wahab Adams who stared from Ghanian Premier League clubs Adwana Stars and Ashanti Kotoko.

Elsewhere, Dire Dawa have re-signed their former Ghanaian defender, Emmanuel Larian, on a one-year deal after he previously moved to Japan with Okosia Kyoto.
