Friday Samu scored all five goals as runaway MTN Super League leaders Green Buffaloes trounced Indeni 5-0 in their clash in Lusaka on Friday.

It was a stunning personal performance from Samu, who may well be pushing for a return to the Zambia national team after an electric start to the 2021-22 season with Buffaloes.

He scored two goals in the opening 16 minutes and then added three more in the second half as the 26-year-old ripped through Indeni in one of the stand-out individual performances in the league for many seasons.

It is a sixth-straight win for Buffaloes that moves them eight points clear at the top of the Super League table, though they have played a game more than second-placed Nkwazi.

Defending champions Zesco United are 10 points behind but have three games in hand.

Samu has now taken his tally to eight goals in seven games this season, with his form propelling rampaging Buffaloes to what seems a strong title at the title this season.

They have not won the domestic league competition in Zambia since 1981, when they picked up the last of their six league titles.
