Sevilla FC v Villarreal FC

Sevilla have only won one of their last eight LaLiga games against Villarreal (D5 L2) and that was away from home, 3-2 in November 2017, after winning four of their previous six against them in the competition (D1 L1).

At home, Sevilla have failed to win in their last four LaLiga games against Villarreal, drawing three of them (L1), their longest run without a win against them at home in the Top-flight.

Villarreal have only lost one of their last 13 LaLiga games against Andalusian sides (W6 D6), 1-2 vs Real Betis in April 2019, after losing their previous three against these sides in the competition.

After three defeats in a row in LaLiga in October, Sevilla have only lost one of their last seven games in the competition (W5 D1), 0-1 against Real Madrid on December 5th.

Villarreal have avoided defeat in their last 12 LaLiga games (W5 D7), the longest current unbeaten run in the competition and their longest run without losing in the Top-flight since December 2015-March 2016 (GP14 W9 D5).

Sevilla have collected 12 points thanks to their goals scored in the last 15 minutes of the games in LaLiga this season, at least the double that of any other side (Athletic, six).

Barcelona have won 91.7% of their LaLiga games against Eibar (GP12 W11 D1), their biggest win percentage against an opponent in the competition (min. five games played)

At home, Barcelona have won their six LaLiga games against Eibar, scoring at least three goals in each of these games and keeping three clean sheets, including their last two.

Eibar have suffered their two biggest of margin defeats in LaLiga against Barcelona, both at Camp Nou, 1-6 in September 2017 and 0-5 in February 2020.

Barcelona have avoided defeat in their last 16 LaLiga games at Camp Nou against Basque sides, winning 15 of them (D1), since a 1-2 defeat vs Alavés in September 2016.

Barcelona have avoided defeat in their last four LaLiga games (W3 D1), their longest unbeaten run in the competition under Ronald Koeman.

Eibar’s José Luis Mendilíbar has lost 18 LaLiga games against Barcelona as manager (W1 D2), more than any other opponent in the competition. His only LaLiga win against them was a 3-2 as Osasuna manager in February 2012.

Cádiz CF v Real Valladolid

Cádiz are unbeaten in their last six LaLiga games against Real Valladolid (W2 D4), their longest unbeaten run against them in the Top-flight, with the last four finishing a draw.

Cádiz have played nine home LaLiga games against Real Valladolid avoiding defeat in all them (W4 D5), more than against any other opponent in the competition.

Real Valladolid have only lost one of their last five LaLiga games against Andalusian sides (W2 D2), 0-2 vs Real Betis in September, avoiding defeat in the last two away from home against them in the competition (W1 D1).

Cádiz have only won one of their seven home LaLiga games in 2020/21 (D2 L4), 2-1 vs Barcelona on December 5th, failing to score in four of them.

Real Valladolid have only won one of their last 11 away LaLiga games (D3 L7), 3-1 in November vs Granada, and they have conceded at least one goal in each of their last 14 away from home in the competition.

Cádiz (11/11) and Real Valladolid (15/15) are the two sides, alongside Athletic (18/18), to have scored 100% of their goals in LaLiga this season from inside the box.

Cádiz’s Álvaro Negredo has scored in two of his three home LaLiga games against Real Valladolid, both goals for Almería in 2007 and 2009.

Óscar Plano has been involved in four of the last eight Real Valladolid’goals in LaLiga (one goal and three assists), he has already equalled his best assist tally in a single LaLiga season (four in 33 games in 2018/19).

Levante have won three of their last four LaLiga games against Real Betis (L1), after failing to win any in their previous eight against them in the competition (D2 L6).

Levante have won their last two home LaLiga games against Real Betis, scoring four goals in each of these games, they have never won three in a row at home against them in the Top-flight.

Levante have only lost one of their last seven home LaLiga games against Andalusian sides (W4 D2), 2-6 vs Sevilla in September 2018, after losing their previous four against these sides at Ciutat de Valencia in the Top-flight.

Levante have only lost one of their last nine LaLiga games drawing six of them (W2), all by the same score-line (1-1).

Real Betis have lost four of their last five away LaLiga games, except for their 2-0 win vs Osasuna, they failed to score in three of their four defeats in this period.

Only Getafe (7.3%) have a lower shot conversion rate away from home in LaLiga this season than Real Betis (7.4%). Only Real Sociedad (106) & Real Madrid (98) have attempted more shots away from home than Real Betis (95) in LaLiga season, with the Andalusian side scoring half the number of goals (seven) than these two teams (14).

Levante’s José Luis Morales has scored four goals on aggregate in his last four LaLiga games against Real Betis.

Real Betis’s Borja Iglesias has been involved in three goals in his four LaLiga appearances against Levante (two goals and one assist), two games for Espanyol and two for his current club.

Levante’s Gonzalo Melero has been involved in a goal in each of his last two LaLiga games for the first time in his career (one goal, one assist). He has scored three goals in LaLiga in 2020/21, more than he has in any other season in the competition.

Real Betis’s Manuel Pellegrini has only lost two of his 12 managerial LaLiga games against Levante (W9 D1), although these defeats were in two of his last three away games against them in the competition.

Granada have failed to win in their last 15 LaLiga games against Valencia (D3 L12) and only against Atlético de Madrid (GP20 D5 L15) do they have a longer run without victory vs current LaLiga sides.

At home, Granada have failed to win any of their last seven LaLiga games against Valencia, losing five (D2), after losing only two of their previous 16 at home against them in the competition (W10 D4).

After five wins in a row away from home against Andalusian sides in LaLiga, between 2017 and 2019, Valencia have failed to win in their last three away games against such sides in the Top-flight (D1 L2).

Granada have only lost one of their last eight LaLiga games at Los Cármenes (W5 D2), 1-3 vs Real Valladolid in November, after losing three of their previos four at home in the competition (D1).

Valencia have only collected 15 points after their first 15 LaLiga games in 2020/21, their second lowest tally at this stage of a season in the 21st Century (12 points in 2016/17).

Only Levante (27) have been leading for fewer minutes away from home in LaLiga this season than Valencia (31).

Excluding own goals, Carlos Soler has been involved in eight of the last 10 Valencia goals in LaLiga (five goals and three assists), except the first goal in the game against Alavés (Manu Vallejo) and the last one against Barcelona (Maxi Gómez).

Granada’s Jorge Molina scored the last of his four LaLiga braces in February 2020 against Valencia as a Getafe player.

After being involved in five goals in his first three LaLiga appearances against Granada (three goals and two assists), Valencia’s Kevin Gameiro has no goal involvements in his last five games against them in the competition.

Atlético de Madrid have won their last 12 LaLiga games against Getafe, keeping a clean sheet in all them, their longest ever run against a single opponent in LaLiga.

At home, Atlético de Madrid have won their last nine LaLiga games against Getafe, keeping a clean sheet in all these games, since a defeat 0-3 in May 2010 under Quique Sánchez Flores.

Getafe have lost three of their last four LaLiga games against Madrilean sides (W1), as many defeats as in their previous nine of these derbies in the Top-flight (W3 D3 L3) and Atlético de Madrid have only won one of their last five matches against fellow Madrilean sides in the competition (D2 L2) after winning their previous four.

Atlético de Madrid have won nine of their last 10 LaLiga games, all except their 0-2 defeat vs Real Madrid, conceding only three goals on aggregate in this period (20 goals scored).

Getafe won their last away LaLiga game, 2-0 vs Cádiz, after failing to win in their previous 11 away from home (D6 L5). They last won two matches in a row in the competition in February (2).

Atlético de Madrid have the most clean sheets in La Liga in 2020 (17) whilst have the joint-third most this year (15, alongside Barcelona) after Real Madrid (16).

Atlético de Madrid’s Luis Suárez has been involved in seven goals in his last six LaLiga games against Getafe (five goals and two assists), he has scored in each of his last two against them in the competition (two goals on aggregate).

Gatefe’s Enes Ünal scored the first of his two LaLiga braces in March 2018 vs Atlético de Madrid, as Villarreal player.

Excluding penalty goals, Yannick Carrasco has assisted the last three Atlético de Madrid’s goals in LaLiga. The Belgian player has provided three assists on aggegate in his last two LaLiga appearances, as many as in his previous 32 games in the competition.

Getafe’s José Bordalás has managed six LaLiga games against Atlético de Madrid, losing all them, more than against any other opponent in the competition, failing to score in all them.

RC Celta de Vigo v SD Huesca

Celta de Vigo are unbeaten in their two LaLiga games against Huesca (W1 D1), both in 2018/19 season.

Huesca have lost their last two away games against Celta de Vigo in all competitions, one in Liga Smartbank and the other in LaLiga, after winning the previous three against them away from home, all in Liga Smartbank.

Celta de Vigo have won their last three LaLiga games at Balaídos, all them under Eduardo Coudet. The Argentinian manager could become the first manager to win his first four home LaLiga games for Celta since Javier Irureta (six in 1997).

Huesca have failed to win in their last 15 away LaLiga games (D9 L6) and have conceded 3+ goals in three of their last five away from home in the competition.

Celta de Vigo’s Iago Aspas is the Spanish player to have been involved in the most goals in LaLiga in 2020 (23, 15 goals and 8 assists), he’s been involved in 54.8% of Celta de Vigo’s total goals in the competition in this period (42).

Elche have lost their last eight LaLiga games against Real Madrid, after losing only two of their previous seven against them in the Top-flight (W2 D3 L2).

At home, Elche have lost their last four LaLiga games against Real Madrid, only one fewer than they lost in their previous 17 home games against them in the competition (W6 D6 L5).

Elche have lost their last two home LaLiga games against Madrilean sides, both in 2015 and failing to score in both, they have never lost three in a row at home without scoring against these sides in the competition.

Elche have failed to win in their last eight LaLiga games (D5 L3), after winning three of their previous four in the competition (D1).

Osasuna have won three of their last four home LaLiga games against Alavés (L1) although they have conceded two goals in each of those three wins.

Osasuna have failed to win in their last eight LaLiga games (D2 L6) conceding at least two goals in each of their last five.

Alavés have lost their last two away LaLiga games, failing to score in both, they last lost three in a row away from home in the competition without scoring in September 2017 (3).

Osasuna have only collected 12 points after their first 14 LaLiga games in 2020/21 (W3 D3 L8); in their five previous seasons in the Top-flight when they had collected 12 or less points (three points per win) at this stage, they only were relegated in one of them (the last one, seven points in 2016/17).

Only Elche (26) have attempted fewer shots on target in LaLiga in 2020/21 than Alavés and only Cádiz have a lower average possession this season (33.4%) than the Basque side (38.7%).
