CA Osasuna v Elche CF

After losing four of their first six matches against Elche in LaLiga (W2), Osasuna have not lost any of their last seven matches against them in the competition (W2 D5).

At home, Osasuna have not lost any of their last five matches against Elche in LaLiga (W3 D2), after losing their very first match against them at home in the competition (1-3 in April 1960).

Osasuna are unbeaten in their last five meetings against newly-promoted sides in LaLiga, although they’ve drawn four of them (W1); their last such defeat was against Granada in February 2020, losing 0-3 at home.

Osasuna are winless in their last four home games in LaLiga (D2 L2), failing to score in all four, while they have never gone five without scoring at home in top-flight history.

Elche have not won any of their last 14 away LaLiga games (D4 L10), after winning their first two on the road in the competition this season. Fran Escribá’s side have conceded at least two goals in six of their last seven away matches.

Osasuna have won just one point from games when they have conceded the opening goal in LaLiga this season, the fewest of any team.

Since the start of 2021, Ante Budimir has scored three of Osasuna’s five goals at El Sadar in LaLiga. No other side has scored fewer home goals than them in the competition in 2021 (five, level with Getafe).

Osasuna’s Rubén García was directly involved in both of his side’s goals in this season’s reverse fixture against Elche in LaLiga (one goal and one assist), while this was just one of two occasions when he has scored and assisted in a game in the competition (also versus Valencia in 2019/20).

Elche’s Edgar Badia could become the first LaLiga goalkeeper to make a century of saves in the competition this season (currently on 95).

Elche coach Fran Escribá has won his last two LaLiga games against Osasuna, both with Villarreal, after failing to win in his previous two (D1 L1), which were both while in charge of Elche.

Real Sociedad v Sevilla

Real Sociedad have not won any of their last six matches against Sevilla in LaLiga (D2 L4), after winning four of their previous six against them in the competition (D1 L1).

Sevilla have only won in one of their last nine away games against Real Sociedad in LaLiga (D3 L5), 4-0 in January 2017. They had won each of the previous three such games leading up to this run, between 2006 and 2011.

Sevilla have won their last two away LaLiga games against Basque rivals, vs Alavés and Eibar, and could win three in a row for the first time since January 2011 – the third game in this streak came away to Real Sociedad.

Real Sociedad have only lost two of their last 13 home matches in LaLiga (W6 D5), while both of those defeats came against teams currently in the top three of the table - 0-2 vs Atlético de Madrid in December 2020 and 1-6 vs Barcelona last March.

Sevilla have scored in each of their last six away LaLiga games (12 goals in total), their best streak away from home this season. Against Celta de Vigo in their last game, they scored four goals away from home for the first time since September 2018 in LaLiga (6-2 against Levante).

Sevilla have scored 11 headed goals in LaLiga this season - only Real Madrid (13) have netted more. Indeed, their 11 headed goals are their most in a single league season since the 2014/15 campaign (13).

Real Sociedad’s Mikel Oyarzabal has been directly involved in four goals in his last four games against Sevilla in LaLiga (three goals and one assist), although he hasn’t scored in any of his five games against them at the Reale Arena.

Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri has scored five goals in LaLiga against Real Sociedad, his joint-most against an opponent in the competition (also five against Eibar and Real Betis).

Only against Barcelona (6 - D1 L5) has Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil managed more LaLiga games without winning than against Sevilla (5 - D1 L4).

Sevilla’s Julen Lopetegui is undefeated in his three games as a coach against Real Sociedad (W2 D1), with all three coming in LaLiga.

Deportivo Alavés v SD Huesca

After winning their first two LaLiga games against Huesca in the 2018-19 campaign, Alavés lost their last match in the competition against them, 0-1 in the reverse fixture this season.

o Huesca have won just one of their seven visits to Alavés in all competitions (D1 L5), a 1-0 victory in Second Division B in October 1983.

o Alavés have only earned 24 points after their first 30 LaLiga games this season, their worst total at this stage in the top-flight (counting three points per win) - six fewer than their previous worst return (30 points after 30 games in 2002-03).

Alavés have lost their last eight LaLiga games against newly promoted teams, while failing to score in six of them, since their 2-0 win over Mallorca in September 2019 - this is their worst losing streak against such teams in the top-flight.

Huesca have won their last two LaLiga matches, against Levante and Elche - they have never won three in a row in the top-flight. The last time they recorded three consecutive wins in all competitions was in August 2019 (three, one in LaLiga and two in Liga Smartbank).

Alavés have scored 50% of their goals from set-piece situations in LaLiga this season (12/24), the highest percentage of any team in the competition.

Huesca have won fewer points after scoring in the second half of games than any other side in LaLiga this season (five), while Alavés have lost the most points after conceding in that period (17, level with Real Valladolid).

Rafa Mir is Huesca’s top scorer in LaLiga with 12 goals, scoring a brace in each of their last two appearances in the competition – the last Spaniard to score a brace in three LaLiga games in a row was Nolito in May 2014.

Joselu has scored five of Deportivo Alavés' last nine goals in LaLiga, although he has failed to score in any of his last three games. If he doesn't score against Huesca in this match, it will be his worst streak without scoring in the competition in 2021.

o Pacheta has recorded four wins in his 12 matches as coach of Huesca in LaLiga. He has won 33% of his games in charge, the best percentage of any Huesca boss in the competition.

Club Atlético de Madrid – SD Eibar

Atlético de Madrid have lost just once of their 13 matches against Eibar in LaLiga (W10 D2), 0-2 at Ipurua in January 2020, in what was Sergi Enrich's 150th game in the competition.

Atlético de Madrid are unbeaten in their six home LaLiga games against Eibar (W4 D2), scoring in all of them (12 goals in six games).

Eibar are winless in their last 13 LaLiga games (D4 L9), their worst streak without a win in the top-flight.

Atlético de Madrid have only won four of their last 11 LaLiga matches (D5 L2), after recording eight consecutive victories between December 2020 and January 2021.

Eibar have only picked up 23 points after 30 games in LaLiga this season, their worst total at this stage in their seven campaigns in the top-flight.

No side has dropped more points after scoring the first goal of the game than Eibar in LaLiga this season (16 points – P10 W4 D2 L4, level with Athletic Club).

Eibar have scored five goals following high turnovers in LaLiga this season, the most of any team.

This game will see the team with the highest negative differential between their Expected Goals (35) and goals scored (22) in LaLiga this season (Eibar, -13) and the team with the highest positive differential, with an xG of 41 and 52 goals scored (Atlético de Madrid, +11).

Luis Suárez, who will not play this match due to injury, has won more points with his goals than any other player in LaLiga this season. Atlético de Madrid have earned 17 of their 67 points thanks to the Uruguayan's 19 goals.

Kike García has been involved in five of Eibar's last nine goals in LaLiga (three goals and two assists) and this season he has been already involved in 10 goals (eight goals and two assists), his highest figure of goal involvement in a season in the top-flight.

Cádiz CF v Celta de Vigo

After defeating Celta de Vigo in their first two matches in LaLiga, Cádiz have only recorded one win in their last 11 games against them in the competition (D3 L7).

Cádiz have scored exactly one goal in each of their six home games against Celta de Vigo in LaLiga, losing just one of them (W2 D3), 1-2 in March 1988.

Celta de Vigo have won their last two away LaLiga games, as many wins as in their previous 25 such matches (W2 D13 L10). However, they could win three LaLiga away games in a row for the first time since January 2018.

Celta de Vigo have scored three or more goals in their last two away games in LaLiga - never in their history in the competition have they had three-straight matches on the road where they’ve scored three or more goals.

Cádiz has won their last two LaLiga matches, vs Valencia and Getafe, and could register three successive victories in the top-flight for the first time since May 1990 (four wins in a row).

Cádiz are the only team to score 100% of their goals from inside the box in LaLiga this season (27 goals).

Denis Suárez has assisted four of Celta de Vigo's last nine goals in LaLiga and this season he has already made seven assists, more than in any of his seven campaigns in the competition.

Iago Aspas (one goal and two assists) had a hand in three of Celta de Vigo’s four goals against Cádiz in the reverse fixture this season (4-0 to the Galician team).

Cádiz player; Álvaro Negredo has scored two hat-tricks in LaLiga, both with Sevilla, the first of them came against Celta de Vigo, in March 2013.

Cádiz’s Álvaro Cervera has managed three games against Celta de Vigo, one in LaLiga and two in Liga Smartbank, losing all of them, two with Recreativo de Huelva and one with his current team.

Real Betis Balompié v Valencia

Real Betis have only won two of their last eight LaLiga matches against Valencia (D2 L4), although one of them came in the reverse fixture this season (2-0 at Mestalla). The last time they recorded the double against them in a single top-flight season was in 1975/76.

Valencia have only lost in one of their last four games against Real Betis at Benito Villamarín (W2 D1), the most recent such game (1-2 in November 2019).

Valencia have failed to win in their last six away LaLiga games (D1 L5), losing the last four in a row. They last suffered five straight away defeats in April 2010 under Unai Emery.

Real Betis have drawn their last two league games (both 1-1). They haven’t drawn three in a row in the competition since February 2017 and they last drew 1-1 in three consecutive games between September and October 2004.

Real Betis have earned 47 points after their first 30 LaLiga games this season, their best total at this stage in the competition since the 2012/13 campaign, when they finished 7th at the end.

Real Betis have scored more goals from substitutes than any other side in LaLiga this season (15). In fact, six of their last nine goals in the competition were thanks to players coming from the bench.

Valencia’s Gonçalo Guedes has assisted in each of his last three LaLiga appearances (one assist in each), his best such run in the competition. The Portuguese player has been involved in six goals in his six games against Real Betis (three goals, three assists), more than against any other opponent in the competition.

If he plays in this match, Valencia’s Daniel Wass will become the third Dane to reach 200 games in LaLiga history after John Lauridsen (272) and Michael Laudrup (228).

Daniel Wass has scored four goals with Valencia in LaLiga this season, equalling his best tally in a single season in the competition (four goals with Celta de Vigo in 2017/18). The Danish player has scored two goals in his last three league appearances, as many as he’d netted in his previous 49 games.

Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini has beaten Valencia 11 times in LaLiga (G18, W11 D2 L5). Only against Getafe and Mallorca (13 victories each) has he achieved more victories throughout his managerial career in the competition.

Getafe CF v Real Madrid

Getafe have suffered more defeats (23) and conceded more goals (73) against Real Madrid than against any other team in LaLiga. The Blues have lost 13 of their last 14 matches against them in the competition (D1).

At home, Getafe are currently enduring their worst winless run versus Real Madrid in LaLiga (D1 L5) - their last win against the Whites at the Coliseum in the competition was in August 2012 (2-1).

Getafe are winless in their last five Madrilenian derbies in LaLiga (D1 L4), failing to score in all of these games, while Real Madrid are unbeaten in their last nine league derbies (W6 D3).

Getafe have only recorded one win in their last 12 LaLiga matches (D4 L7), 3-0 against Valencia last February. The Blues have only scored 22 goals after 30 games in LaLiga in 2020/21, their lowest figure at this stage in the top-flight.

Real Madrid have not lost any of their last 10 away LaLiga games (W6 D4) and have not gone 11 consecutive away games in the competition without losing since October 2017 (W13), in the first stages of Zinedine Zidane tenure as coach.

No side has scored the first goal of the game more times than Real Madrid in LaLiga this season (22, level with Sevilla), while Getafe have scored the fewest opening goals (8).

Real Madrid have attempted 40 shots following high turnovers in LaLiga this season; the most of any team.

Enes Ünal has been involved in three goals in his last four games (one goal and two assists), after failing to score or assist in any of his first 16 matches with Getafe in LaLiga. The Turk scored Getafe’s last goal in the competition, on March 21st against Elche, in the last match he played.

Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema has scored in each of his last seven LaLiga games (nine goals in total) - the last player to score in eight in a row in the competition was Lionel Messi in February 2019 (8).

Since the start of 2021, no player has provided more assists in LaLiga than Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos (seven, level with Lionel Messi).

Levante v Villarreal

Levante have won just one of their last six LaLiga games against Villarreal (D1 L4), 2-1 in August 2019, although they have scored in five of those six encounters.

At home, Levante have won three of their last four games against Villarreal in LaLiga (L1), after winning just one of their previous seven matches in the competition against them at home (L6).

Levante have only won one of their last seven Valencian derbies in LaLiga (D2 L4), winning the most recent one (1-0 against Valencia), while Villarreal have only lost one of their last seven (W4 D2), also their last one (1-2 against Valencia).

After four consecutive home wins in LaLiga between December 2020 and January 2021, Levante have only won one of their last seven home games in the competition (D4 L2), 1-0 against Valencia last March.

Villarreal have won their last two away LaLiga games (vs Eibar and Granada), their best run of away wins in the competition this season.

Villarreal are one of the three teams with no points won with goals scored in the last 15 minutes of games in LaLiga this season, alongside Huesca and Alavés.

Villarreal have won the most penalties (12) and scored the most goals from the penalty spot (11) of any side in LaLiga this season. 2020/21 is the top-flight season in which they have scored the most penalty goals ever.

No player has won more points with their goals and assists than Villarreal striker Gerard Moreno in LaLiga this season (19 points with 19 goals and 5 assists, the same as Lionel Messi, 19 points with 23 goals and 8 assists).

Among all players who have scored at least six goals in LaLiga in 2020/21, Roger Martí (11) has the highest shot conversion rate (29.7%). Levante’s striker scored a double in his last league match against Villarreal, with both goals coming from the penalty spot, in September 2019.

Villarreal coach Unai Emery has only lost one of his last six visits to Levante in LaLiga (W3 D2), 0-1 in March 2013 with Sevilla in what was the Basque coach's 200th managerial game in the competition.
