Zesco United are now onto of the Zambian Super League as they kept up their 100 percent start to the seaon to usurp Red Arrows, held to a draw at the same time on Sunday.

Zesco made it seven out of seven by beating newly promoted Kansanshi Dynamos 2-1 away at Solwezi Independenme Stadium to advance to 21 points.

It is one point more than Arrows, who could not stay ahead of the reigning champions as they drew 1-1 away at Lusaka Dynamos as they gave up a late equaliser

The Airmen battled at the Nkoloma Stadium until James Chamanagha broke the deadlock with just five minutes left.

But just when it seemed they would keep their noses in front, substitute Baba Basile equalised four minutes into stoppage time for the home side

Zesco were 2-0 up through Antony Akumu and Thabani Kamusoko and are heading into record-breaking territory with their exploits.

The two matches formed part of five on Sunday as the full programme was curtailed by the participation of Green Eagles and Zanaco in the third round of the African Confederation Cup.

Green Buffaloes, Lumwana Radiants and Nkana were the other Sunday winners.
