The Grandstand channel, launched with the revamp of SuperSport's channel reshuffle recently, is designed to bring you the best of the live sporting action throughout the day.

With the focus primarily on sports you'll find on the DStv Premium package, and not the football channels that sit right next to it, you can see the pick of rugby, cricket, golf, motorsport, tennis and more as the day's sporting offering unfolds.

The same action will also take place on each sport's dedicated home, so to watch more of the build-up or post-event proceedings, jump on to the other channel as Grandstand will always try and focus on the live action.

Here's what you'll be able to see on Grandstand this weekend, 28-29 November:

New Zealand v Argentina, Tri-Nations  |  WP v Bulls, Currie Cup  |  Saturday Football
UFC: Blaydes v Lewis  |  Australia v India, ODI  |  Proteas v England, T20 |  Sunday Football

------------------------------------------------

NEW ZEALAND v ARGENTINA - Tri-Nations
Grandstand, 10:35am CAT

There will be revenge on the All Blacks' minds when they meet Argentina in a Tri-Nations fixture on Saturday, a mere two weeks after losing their first test ever against Los Pumas. It's a match that will teach us a lot about the character of both teams.

- ALSO: the Mitre 10 final between Auckland and Tasman is on before this, kick off at 7:35am . . .

------------------------------------------------

WESTERN PROVINCE v BULLS - Carling Currie Cup
Grandstand, 6:45pm CAT

It is time for SA rugby's famous North/South derby. The Blue Bulls have not won a match at Newlands since 2010 and that is a record they would want to set right when they meet Western Province in their Currie Cup opening fixture on Saturday.

- ALSO: Sharks v Pumas - Fri, 7pm. Griquas v Lions - Sat, 4:30pm.

BLAYDES v LEWIS - UFC
Grandstand, main fight from 4am CAT

Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis are set for a brutal battle in the heavyweight main event at the APEX Facility in Las Vegas on Sunday morning. Both fighters come into the fight in good form with Blaydes winning his last four and Lewis his last three. Blaydes has his eyes on a title fight and victory on Sunday could bring him one step closer to achieving that goal.

Lewis has his sights set firmly on Blaydes and has promised to "to take Curtis Blaydes down and finish him". With a quality-packed main card there will be no shortage of premier fighting action for the fans at this UFC Fight Night.

------------------------------------------------

AUSTRALIA v INDIA - One-day International
Grandstand, from 8am CAT

All eyes will be on Australia’s pace attack against India’s much-vaunted batting power in the second encounter of the short three-match series in Sydney.

------------------------------------------------

PROTEAS v ENGLAND - T20 International

Happy to be finally playing some international cricket, the rusty Proteas will have to overcome a very strong England team, who have already had a drawn series against Pakistan and beaten Australia.
