Spain call up Cucurella for friendlies after Gaya injury

Spain coach Luis de la Fuente called up Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella on Sunday for upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Brazil after Jose Gaya dropped out injured.

Valencia left-back Gaya was taken off hurt during his team's 1-0 La Liga defeat by Villarreal on Sunday while Cucurella scored for Chelsea in a 4-2 win over Leicester in the FA Cup.

Spain play Colombia in London on 22 March and Brazil four days later at Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
