Cape Town Tigers stunned Angola's Petro de Luanda 85-78 Saturday in Pretoria to set up a dream finale on Sunday when they play Morocco's FUS Rabat in the last game of the Kalahari Conference.

It was a dramatic turnaround for Tigers who had lost their previous games in the series coming into the action at the Sunbet Arena on Saturday.

Billy Preston led the Tigers charge, weighing in with 20 points and 11 rebounds, and great contributions from Dylan Whitebread, Nkosinathi Sibayoni, Samkelo Cele and Cartier Diarra.

Coach Flosh Ngwenya of the Tigers has his work cut out as he looks to fashion a winning formula and draw from the kind of home support in Pretoria to progress.

As the Basketball Africa League (BAL) Kalahari Conference enters its final stretch, anticipation is at fever pitch with only one more game left to decide the teams that move on to the BAL Playoffs and Finals in Kigali.
