Bouchier shines as England Women beat New Zealand to seal T20 series
England Women beat New Zealand by 47 runs at Cello Basin Reserve, Wellington.
Player of the Match Maia Bouchier impressed again, scoring 91 off 56 balls.
The result means England win the series with a game to spare.
The match saw the return of Women’s Premier League (WPL) quartet Alice Capsey, Sophie Ecclestone, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Danielle Wyatt.
Wyatt became England Women's highest run-scorer in international T20s, surpassing Charlotte Edwards' tally of 2 605. She was dismissed for nine.
Bouchier formed a strong partnership with Capsey while Sciver-Brunt and captain Heather Knight recorded 29 and 21 not out respectively as the tourists finished on 177 for three.
There was a four-wicket haul for bowler Charlie Dean while Lauren Bell, Danielle Gibson and the returning Ecclestone also took wickets.
The final match of the T20 series takes place at the same venue on Friday (29 March).
