While live domestic rugby takes a much-needed breather this weekend, local viewers will still have a chunk of high-quality action to enjoy on SuperSport with several blocks of legacy content between this weekend and next.

Starting on Saturday, the last three tours by the British and Irish Lions will be reprised with re-broadcasts of the test matches, against New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. With a decision still to be made on this year’s Lions tour to SA, fans can be reminded of the majesty of the tourists whose travelling caravan of fans make it a unique sporting occasion.

Beyond that, there will be World Cup finals, plus a re-broadcast of “Chasing the Sun”, which earned wide acclaim for its authentic, gritty telling of the Springboks’ Rugby World Cup triumph in 2019.
