Tickets are selling fast for Vodacom Super Hero Sunday, the official start to the South African rugby season, but remain available for the weekend’s double-header at FNB Stadium.

Computicket reports brisk sales ahead of the showdown that pits the Sharks against the Stormers at 1pm and the Lions against the Bulls at 3.15pm.

The teams will play in their jerseys inspired by the Marvel characters Captain America (Vodacom Bulls), Thor (DHL Stormers), Spider-Man (Emirates Lions) and Black Panther (Cell C Sharks).

With fun and entertainment central themes, fans are invited to dress as their favourite super hero on a day they can watch their real-life super heroes in action.

Many of South Africa’s World Cup-winning Springboks will turn out on Sunday, ensuring it’s a not-to-be-missed occasion for rugby supporters.

Tickets are on sale at Computicket at R60 each or R200 for four.
