Zimbabwe hope to be able to use Mamelodi Sundowns left-back Divine Lunga and former Kaizer Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona in Friday’s Africa Cup of Nations clash against Angola in Marrakech, with the pair reportedly over injuries that kept them out of Monday’s loss to Egypt.

Also likely to be available is the English-based right-back Sean Fusire, who plays for struggling Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday.

All three trained ahead of the must-win meeting, but defender Munashe Garananga sat out after a blow on his upper leg in the 2-1 defeat by Egypt in Agadir.

The setback means Zimbabwe will be desperately looking for points against Angola and ahead of their last Group B game against South Africa in Marrakech on Monday.

Zimbabwe are making their sixth Cup of Nations finals appearance, but in the previous five have failed to advance out of the group stage to the knockout round.

They have won three of 16 previous matches at the finals.
