DSG lose third match to the weather

Continuous drizzle forced the abandonment of the SA20 clash between Durban’s Super Giants and Sunrisers Eastern Cape at Kingsmead in Durban on Friday night.

Sunrisers remain top of the log, but the no-result without even a toss is a particular blow for DSG as it is their third match of seven to be ruined by the weather. Sitting on 10 points, they are fifth in the table and presently out of the qualifiers with just three matches remaining.

Since beating basement side MI Cape Town in their opening match, DSG have lost three of their next six games to go with the three no-results.
