Ireland win toss and bat in third ODI

Ireland captain, Paul Stirling, won the toss and chose to bat first in the third and final one-day international against South Africa at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

 

Allrounder Jason Smith replaces Wiaan Mulder in the middle order after Mulder returned home for personal reasons while Reeza Hendricks, who arrived the country just a day before the game, will open the batting in place of the injured Temba Bavuma. Rassie van der Dussen will captain South Africa.

South Africa have already clinched the series with comprehensive victories by 139 and 174 runs in the first two matches at the same venue on Wednesday and Friday last week.
