Kenyan marathon world record-holder Kelvin Kiptum was "an extraordinary sportsman" who left a mark on the world, President William Ruto said on Monday after the 24-year-old died in a car crash.
"Arguably one of the world's finest sportsmen who broke barriers to secure a marathon record," Ruto said on X, describing Kiptum as "our future".
