David Morrell makes fourth defence of WBA Regular belt

David Morrell from Cuba makes the fourth defence of his WBA “Regular” super middleweight belt when he meets the mandatory challenger Aidos Yerbossnuly of Kazakhstan who now fights out of Las Vegas, at the Armoury in Minneapolis, USA on Saturday.
The 24-year-old Morrell (7-0; 6), who fights from the southpaw stance, will be facing one of the stiffest challenges in his short career.
Morell has made successful defences of the belt against Mario Abel Cazares (12-0), Alantez Fox (28-2-1), and Kalvin Henderson (15-1-1) since making his pro debut on 31 August 2019.

Morell was an outstanding amateur, winning numerous titles, and his last six opponents, including Yerbossnuly, have a combined record of 120-6-4.
Yerbossnuly (16-0; 11), like Morell, was also an outstanding amateur and has had good wins over Isiah Samir (19-1; 16) and Lennox Allen (22-2-1; 14).
The winner could go in against quality fighters like David Benavidez (26-0; 23) and Caleb Plant (22-1; 13).
