Haney defends WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF lightweight titles

Devin Haney defends his WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF lightweight titles against the experienced veteran three-weight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The undisputed lightweight champion, the 24-year-old Haney (29-0; 15) goes into the ring against Lomachenko (17-2; 11) as a firm favourite.

Haney is a master technician and is bigger and stronger than Lomachenko, who has lost to bigger opponents like Orlando Salido and Teofimo Lopez. He is also taller and has a reach advantage.
The skilled Haney will work from behind his jab to control the fight and keep the southpaw Lomachenko on the outside.
Many critics consider Haney as the best lightweight in the world. Lomachenko will try to unsettle Haney from his southpaw stance and move in and out.
The latest odds have Haney to win on points at 21/10 and the only hope for Lomachenko is to use his outstanding footwork and right jab to steal the points.
Lomachenko has won two Olympic gold medals and as an amateur, he had 396 wins with only one defeat.
