Former WBA super middleweight champion Vincent Feigenbutz won on a fourth-round knockout against Diego Ramirez (24-9-1; 6) on Saturday night at the Universum Gym in Hamburg, Germany.
Feigenbutz was in control from the opening bell before scoring a knockout in the fourth round with a big shot to the body.
Feigenbutz improved his record to 35-3; 31 and Ramirez’s record dropped to 24-9-1; 6.
UNDERCARD
In a junior middleweight bout, Carlos Toledo (6-0; 5) scored a first-round knockout over the 46-year-old Ferenc Hafner (27-21; 14).
In a light heavyweight bout, Rostam Ibrahim (10-0-2; 6) outpointed Chico Kwasi (5-2-1; 2) over eight rounds.
In another junior middleweight contest, Freddy “Pretty Boy” Kiwitt (22-3; 12) won on points over eight rounds against Ivan Matute (30-10; 25).
COOK RETURNS AFTER 30 MONTHS
Brandon “Bad Boy” Cook (23-2; 16) came back after 30 months to stop Stepan Horvath (21-7; 11) in the second round on Saturday night at the CAA Centre in Ontario, Canada.
Cook scored two knockdowns in the second round before the referee called the fight off at 1:51 into the round.
In a junior middleweight bout, Sukhdeep Singh (13-0; 5) won on points over 10 rounds against Xhuljo Vrenozi (18-5; 3). The scores were 100-90 and 99-91 twice.
Former Olympian Ricardo “Big 12” Brown (5-0; 5) knocked out Carlos Carreon (8-8; 2) in the first round of a heavyweight bout. The time was 11 seconds.
MBILLI WINS IN TWO
No 3-rated WBC super-middleweight Christian Mbilli (22-0; 20) smashed DeAndre Ware (15-4-2; 9) to defeat in two rounds on Friday night at the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Mbilli scored a knockdown in the opening round and another two knockdowns in the second to finish it.
In a heavyweight bout, Simon Kean (22-1; 21) won on a first-round technical knockout against Newfel Ouatah (18-5; 10).
It was a rather bizarre ending as at the bell, Ouatah dropped to his knee without being hit and the referee waved the fight off.
In a female junior middleweight bout, Mary Spencer (7-0; 5) won in 63 seconds of the first round against Cynthia Lozano (9-2; 7).
GLANTON WINS IN TWO
WBO No 14-rated cruiserweight Brandon “Bulletproof” Glanton (17-0; 14) won on a second-round knockout against Mario “El Ruso” Aguilar (22-8; 18) at the ProBox Events Center in Plant City, Florida to win the vacant WBO Global title on Friday night. The time was 1:09.
In a super middleweight bout, Richard Vansiclen (13-0; 6) won on an eight-round unanimous points decision over Hakim Lopez (13-1; 8). The scores were 78-74 and 78-75 twice.
In a toe-to-toe encounter, lightweight Otar “Pitball” Eranosyan (12-0; 6) took an eight-round unanimous decision over veteran Cesar “Corazon” Juarez (27-11; 20).
Welterweight Marques Valle (6-0; 6) won on a first-round knockout against Benjamin Whittaker (15-10; 3). The time was 2:57.
