Lions skipper Dominic Hendricks and Mitchell van Buuren scored centuries as the hosts claimed a 187-run victory against the ITEC Knights in their One-Day Cup at DP World Wanderers on Friday.
Chasing 335 runs for victory, the Knights were restricted to 147 all out thanks to all-round bowling effort from the Lions.
Opener Gerrit Snyman fell early as he was caught off the bowling of Tladi Bokako for eight.
A 61-run partnership between Gihahn Cloete and Nathan Roux formed as they steadied the Knights' run chase before Evan Jones sent both back to the dressing room.
Roux edged behind to keeper Ryan Rickelton for 28 and Gihahn Cloete was caught at mid-off after scoring 44 off 46 balls (hitting seven fours).
Proceedings derailed for the Knights as Pite van Biljon (4) chipped the ball straight to midwicket off the bowling of Wiaan Mulder.
Part-timer Reeza Hendricks then bowled Patrick Botha for 17, Aubrey Swanepoel was run out for one and Shimane Mothoa for a duck.
The Knights were eventually bundled out for 147 all out in 32.2 overs thanks to the bowling effort from Sisanda Magala (2-31), Jones (2-19) and Mulder (2-21).
