Dutch rider Marijn van den Berg claimed his first career stage win at the Tour of Poland on Wednesday while Slovenia's Matej Mohoric retained the overall lead.
EF Education's Van den Berg finally broke his duck at the age of 24 at the end of a mass sprint which was also marked by a fall that claimed Polish rider Rafal Majka and Ilan Van Wilder of Belgium who had been running third and sixth overall respectively.
Van der Berg came home just ahead of Mohoric and Portugal's Joao Almeida.
Thanks to his second place and six bonus seconds, Mohoric leads the overall standings by 12 seconds.
