Rain delays last day of New Zealand-Sri Lanka test
Rain delayed the start of the final day of the first test between New Zealand and Sri Lanka in Christchurch on Monday.
The match is evenly poised with New Zealand resuming on 28 for one and chasing a target of 285.
Sri Lanka need to win in order to keep alive their hopes of making the World Test Championship final.
However, rain is forecast to continue into Monday afternoon, restricting chances of a result.
The highest fourth-innings score at the Hagley Oval ground in Christchurch is 256 for eight by New Zealand in a 2018 draw against England.
