India v South Africa - All you need to know

South Africa tour India for the first time since 2019, when thehosts recorded their only T20 victory over the Proteas on homesoil.

The latter will return to the sub-continent with only threesurvivors of that series – but these are serious names, in Quintonde Kock, David Miller and Kagiso Rabada, all having just come offa remarkably successful IPL tournament.

These three will draw on their vast experience – between themthey have 260 IPL games and 45 more for South Africa in India – toguide the other members of the squad through this tour.

South Africa have called up two debutants in middle-orderbatsman Tristan Stubbs, and Marco Jansen. The latter has had asuccessful first season in test cricket, and eyes will be on theleft-arm quickie to see what he can bring to the T20 stage.
