The CSA T20 Challenge match between the bizhub Highveld Lions and the Hollywoodbets Dolphins set to have been played at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom on Monday, has been abandoned as a no result.
Potchefstroom has been subject to incessant rain leaving the match, in the umpires' opinion, a non-starter.
Both teams get two points, which, at the time at going to press, puts the Lions (19 points) on top of the table, that is until the result of the match in Bloemfontein between the VKB Knights and the WSB Cape Cobras is known.
With three games each remaining before the play-offs, The Lions' next fixture is this coming Wednesday at the Wanderers Stadium where they are scheduled to take on the Warriors, while the Dolphins travel to Bloemfontein for a date with the Knights, also on the 24th.
