Sai Sudharsan anchored Gujarat Titans' innings before Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder ran through the Sunrisers Hyderabad batting line-up on their way to an emphatic 82-run win in their Tata Indian Premier League match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday evening.
Gujarat, who were put in to bat first by Sunrisers' captain, Pat Cummins, fought their way to 168-5 in 20 overs.
Their bowlers put on a clinic on how to bowl at Ahmedabad by bowling Sunrisers out for 86 in 14.5 overs.

Kagiso Rabada delivered a masterclass in powerplay bowling in Gujarat's quest to defend their total.
The South African star, who was supported by his new ball partner, Mohammed Siraj, persisted with test match lengths, which proved to be troublesome to the Sunrisers' top order.
Rabada, who bowled his four overs in a single spell, was rewarded for his consistency with three wickets for 28 runs in four overs.

Sunrisers were floundering on 48-4 and in need of a significant partnership to consolidate when Rabada finished his spell.
They needed their leading run-scorer and Orange cap holder, Heinrich Klaasen, to play a transformative innings.
That was not to be. The South African superstar was one of two batters Jason Holder dismissed in the 11th over to help Gujarat strengthen their grip on the contest.
The West Indies star finished the match with three wickets for 20 runs in four overs.

Pat Cummins delivered a few lusty blows with the bat as he tried to inspire Sunrisers to some sort of comeback.
His effort led him to a nine-ball 19. He finished with the most runs for the Sunrisers. Klaasen (14) and Ishan Kishan (11) were the only other batters who reached double figures.
FIFTIES FOR SUDHARSAN AND WASHINGTON
Earlier in the evening, Sudharsan was Gujarat's mainstay at the crease.
The opener, who watched Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler depart for single-digit scores in the powerplay, held their innings together with a 44-ball 61.
This is the left-hander's sixth half-century of the season and he reached it with a legside boundary off the 38th delivery he faced.

His innings ended when he tried to be innovative and play a ramp off Sakib Hussain's bowling in the 17th over. Sudharsan miscued the shot and scooped the ball to Praful Hinge at short third.
Washington Sundar, with whom he shared a 60-run fourth-wicket partnership, took over the innings in the wake of Sudharsan's demise.
The allrounder went after the Sunrisers' bowling at the death on his way to a 33-ball 50.

Nishant Sindhu was the only other Gujarat batter who scored more than 20 runs.
The 22-year-old tried to give the Gujarat innings impetus with a handful of fours and a single six soon after the powerplay.
Unfortunately for them, Sindhu was in the middle for a short period. He perished after scoring a 14-ball 22.
The victory lifts Gujarat to the top of the table with 16 points from 12 matches.
The result enhances their chances for a top three playoff as the competition heads to the knockout stage.
The Sunrisers, on the other hand, are in third place with 14 points from 12 outings. They have their work cut out in their last two group matches.
