Cricket South Africa (CSA) is pleased to welcome ClearScore as the Official Credit Product Marketplace Partner to CSA and the Proteas, in a multi-year partnership covering both the Proteas Men and Proteas Women.
The partnership will see ClearScore branding on the sleeve of the Proteas Test shirt, putting the brand alongside South Africa's top players in the longest format of the game, at home and abroad.
ClearScore, which helps South Africans understand credit, access financial products and manage their borrowing, joins CSA as a partner to the format that remains the pinnacle of the international game. The partnership comes as the Proteas Men are the reigning ICC World Test Champions, having lifted the title at Lord's in 2025.
CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki, said:
"Test cricket is where our players are tested most, and partners who back the format directly help us sustain it. ClearScore's investment over the next few years gives our Test programme valuable support at an important time for the game.
"We are also pleased that the partnership extends to the Proteas Women whenever they take the field in Test cricket, as we continue working to grow the women's game across all formats.
"ClearScore's support goes beyond the national team. They will also invest in our Black Batters Programme, which we look forward to sharing more about in the coming weeks. That commitment to the pathway says a lot about the kind of partner they intend to be.
"We welcome ClearScore to the CSA family and look forward to what we can achieve together."
Justin Basini, Co-Founder and CEO at the ClearScore Group, said:
We’re incredibly proud to partner with Cricket South Africa and to see ClearScore on the Proteas Test shirt. The Proteas represent ambition, resilience and the pursuit of excellence – qualities that resonate strongly with us as a business.
“At ClearScore, our purpose is to make personal finance clearer, calmer and easier to understand for millions of people around the world. We’re excited to bring that mission to even more people across South Africa through a partnership with a team that means so much to the country.
“We’re particularly pleased that our support extends across both the men’s and women’s Test teams, as well as to the Black Batters Programme. We want this partnership to have an impact beyond the boundary, and we’re looking forward to working with Cricket South Africa and bringing the partnership to life for fans over the years ahead.”
