New Zealand captain, Mitchell Santner, won the toss and chose to bowl first in their T20 World Cup semifinal match against South Africa at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.
South Africa have recalled the trio who were rested in the final Super Eight match against Zimbabwe with Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj and Kagiso Rabada all returning to the starting XI.
The Black Caps have included seamer Matt Henry in their XI having returned from paternity leave in New Zealand less than 24-hours before the game.

South Africa have a perfect 7-0 record in the tournament so far while the Black Caps have lost by four-wickets and seven-wickets to England and South Africa respectively and only qualified for the last four ahead of Pakistan on net run-rate.
New Zealand, however, have a solid record against the Proteas in knockout matches at ICC events having eliminated South Africa at the quarterfinal stage of the 2011 World Cup, the semifinal at the 2015 World Cup and the semifinal at the 2025 Champions Trophy. They have never beaten them in a T20 World Cup, however.
