The period was headlined by the Proteas Men’s historic triumph at Lord’s on 14 June 2025, where they were crowned ICC World Test Championship (WTC) winners. Meanwhile, the Proteas Women continued to assert their dominance by reaching a third consecutive ICC final at the Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 in India.
