DP World Lions captain, Bjorn Fortuin, won the toss and chose to bat first in their final CSA One-Day Cup group match against Goldrush Boland at Boland Park in Paarl on Saturday.
The visitors are top of the log with 23 points, two ahead of the Dafabet Warriors who play against the Moothee Ram Tuskers at St.George’s Park in their final group match.
A Lions victory will guarantee them direct passage into the final consigning the Warriors to play in the Qualifier against the third placed team.
