Josh Inglis (49*) and Mitch Marsh (31*) went great guns against the Rajasthan Royals bowlers as they catapulted Lucknow Super Giants to 83/0 at the close of the powerplay in their Tata Indian Premier League match in Jaipur on Tuesday.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, standing in for Riyan Parag, won the toss and chose to bowl first.
His bowlers struggled to tie the Australian pair down, while the fielders struggled to plug the holes in the field.
Sandeep Sharma bore the brunt of Inglis and Marsh's hitting. He conceded 31 runs in two overs.
