The Joburg Super Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Pretoria Capitals in their Betway SA20 Highveld derby at DP World Wanderers in Johannesburg on Thursday afternoon.

The hosts have made four changes to their side from their previous match, with Moeen Ali, Evan Jones, Hardus Viljoen and Lutho Sipamla coming in for Wihan Lubbe, Mathisha Phatirana, Gerald Coetzee and Tabraiz Shamsi, while the Capitals have made one change with Tiaan van Vuuren replacing Daryn Dupavillon.

The Super Kings are the only unbeaten side left in the competition, having won both their games so far to sit second on the log, while the Capitals have won one, lost one and had a game completely washed out, leaving them in fourth place.

Both teams head into the match off wins, the Super Kings picking up a comfortable 28-run win over Durban’s Super Giants on Tuesday, while on the same day the Capitals clinched their first win, thumping the Sunrisers Eastern Cape by six wickets.

It is thus set to be a thrilling Jukskei battle between the two Highveld rivals, and it will be interesting to see who emerges on top.
